- $43+ per hour (Dayshift rate)
A great opportunity exists for an experienced 'hands on' Warehouse Team Leader to work in this "state of the art" facility that specialises in warehousing and fulfilment of customer orders utilising automated solutions in the fashion and homeware industry.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities include although are not limited to:
- Supervise and ensure efficient day to day operations of the warehouse
- Manage inventory, ensuring stock control and accuracy
- Warehouse administration duties using WMS
- Be hands on and assist team members on the floor during busy periods
- Provide leadership and training to operational team members
- Ensure team meets quality standards, KPI's/targets and customer expectations
- Ensure all OH&S guidelines are followed to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in continuous operational improvement initiatives
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience in a large warehouse or 3PL site
- Experience within an automated warehouse an advantage but not essential
- Solid leadership capability in a "hands on" role, with the ability to lead, mentor and manage team members to achieve targets
- Warehouse administration or general administration experience
- Computer literacy skills - experience with Warehouse Management Systems required
- Experience with picking and packing, cycle counting and stocktaking
- Effective communication skills - both written and verbal
