Warehouse Technician/Storeman

Excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Technic who wants a full time workshop position based in Melbourne, training provided, great working hours!!

Phillip Riley Projects (PRP) are a resourcing partner for leading renewable energy projects across Australia. Our team ensures the right people are in the right place, at the right time, to help develop, deliver and manage complex projects and assets in the energy sector, including wind, solar and transmission projects.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Technician for a Full-Time immediate start for our client who is a global manufacturer, supplier and O&M of industrial gearboxes. They have recently expanded across Australia and have various workshops based across the country.
This position will be based in their Dandenong for the next few months and will then be moving to their brand new workshop in Campbellfield working Monday to Friday 38 hours per week with plenty of opportunity for overtime due to current work demands.
Hours of Work - Opportunities for overtime
Mon-Thur - 7-3.30pm
Fri - 7-1.30pm
The Role
You will be responsible for performing everyday workshop and warehouse tasks which will include but not be limited to the below;

• Receive new equipment in the workshop
• Pack and send parts to the vendors
• Pack and send parts to customers
• Goods receipting of parts from internal and external parties
• Stock control
• Management of stores
• Loading/unloading trucks
• Prepare parts for service technicians prior to assembly

The Ideal Candidate

• 2 + years experience working in a warehouse/workshop environment
• SAP knowledge
• Customer service skills
• Basic computer skills (Essential)
• High Risk Work Licence - Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Crane (Desirable)
• High safety standards
