Warehouse Traineeship

This is a great opportunity for people looking to start a career in Warehousing. We have one position available for a 12 month traineeship on offer, starting ASAP.

You will be joining a fantastic and inclusive team, working in a multi purpose warehouse environment, in Kemps Creek/Pemulwuy. Kemps Creek is situated on the Traditional owner lands of the Cabrogal People of the Darug Nation.
Upon completion of this Traineeship, you will have:

• 12 months experience working in an Iron Mountain warehouse, including exposure to operating an order picking forklift
• Certifications that will make you more employable
• Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (nationally recognised qualification)
• Order Picker (LO) Licence (valid for 5 years)
• And you could potentially obtain a permanent position with Iron Mountain

About the Role

• $25 per hour + paid sick and annual leave + Certificate 3 qualification + LO forklift training
• Learn and gain knowledge on the job, setting you up for the future
• Diverse and inclusive workplace
• Moving goods around the warehouse
• Using radio frequency identification (RF) scanning systems
• Forklift operations (once LO licence is obtained)
• General hand and cleaning duties within the warehouse
• Understand and apply safe practices for manual tasks

Skills & Experience

• Be available for full-time work, Mon to Fri from 10am to 6pm
• You must be a permanent resident or Citizen of Australia
• 18 years old or older
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
• Storeperson, warehouse, logistics or factory experience an advantage, but not essential
