Warehouse Worker, Delivery Driver, And Van Accessory Fitter

Job Summary:

As a multi-skilled team member, you will perform various tasks including warehouse operations, delivery driving, and Van Accessory fitting. This dynamic role requires versatility, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Worker:

1. Receive, unload, and store incoming materials in the warehouse according to established procedures.
2. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring items are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.
3. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
4. Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
5. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris.
6. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks.
7. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Delivery Driver:

1. Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods from distribution centers or warehouses to customers or retail locations.
2. Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize fuel consumption and maximize delivery time.
3. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by delivering orders promptly and courteously, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and maintain a clean driving record.
6. Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance issues and report any mechanical problems or safety concerns.

Van Accessory Fitter:

1. Install a variety of accessories and aftermarket parts on vans, including roof racks, shelving units, ladder racks, and interior liners.
2. Follow installation instructions and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper fit and functionality of accessories.
3. Use hand and power tools to assemble and install accessories securely and efficiently.
4. Inspect vans for pre-existing damage and communicate any issues to the supervisor or customer.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including properly disposing of packaging materials and keeping tools in good condition.
6. Test accessories after installation to ensure they meet quality standards and function correctly.
7. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from customers during the installation process.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Capable of driving a manual car
2. Previous experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or Van Accessory fitting preferred.
3. Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes in the delivery area.
4. Ability to safely operate vehicles and handle warehouse equipment.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
8. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
9. Hours 8.30 – 5 , Monday to Friday
