Key Responsibilities:
Account Management – Manage your B2B customer portfolio of current and prospect clients, selling various nuts, dried fruits and snack foods.
Sales Management – Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions while ensuring optimum customer service is achieved.
New Business Development – Identify and engage with new potential buyers to expand your client portfolio, and understand the needs of each current and prospect client, exploring potential means to grow sales opportunities.
Market Knowledge – Keep an up-to-date knowledge of your markets, pricing, competitors, and opportunities to better support your clients.
Supplier Management – Cultivate strong working relationships with a network of suppliers, ensuring reliable and high-quality supply of your key products.
Documentation & Logistics Management – Work with the team to supervise the preparation of all logistics and trade documentation, facilitating a smooth transaction process and accurate record keeping.
Key Requirements:
Experience - Previous experience in Sales and/or Commodity Trade.
Technical Proficiency – Experience developing and maintaining relationships, achieving sales targets, and developing new business opportunities.
Knowledge Base - General Supply Chain knowledge and exposure. Specific knowledge of fast-moving consumer goods and/or perishable commodities would be advantageous.
Skills - Superior relationship management and time management skills, and an incredible eye for detail.
This position will give you the opportunity to travel across Sydney and interstate in order to cultivate client relationships. Your ability to travel often, and sometimes overnight is a requirement for our ideal candidate.
