AddressWaste Systems Officer (Fixed Term) (Chinchilla OR Dalby)
About the Opportunity
Council is seeking a Waste Systems Officer who will provide operational and technical support to the Waste Operations team.
This is an initial Fixed Term period until 31 January 2025, however may be extended beyond this date.
You will be:
- Collaborating with Council's Waste Software Supplier to configure software functionality to suit Council's and State Government requirements.
- Providing Systems Administrator Services for data analysis, data cleansing, data conversion and quality control as well as management of both internal and external systems stakeholders (eg. weigh configuration and data preparation for the Queensland Waste Data System)
- Managing, facilitating and maintaining Waste IT systems, including Vendor management.
- Managing, developing and implementing frameworks, systems and processes to comply with internal and external operating requirements.
About yourself
A person in this position will need to hold a relevant qualification in Business Administration or in a related field, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience. It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have
- Current QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence
