Salary Range $55,884.40 - $64,826.32 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications)

The Opportunity
Wingecarribee Shire Council’s Water Services branch is seeking motivated and hands on Crew Members to join its Water Network team. The Water Services branch is responsible for the construction, maintenance and quality assurance of Council’s water assets. This position can include working across different work teams to meet business needs, assisting in a variety of routine manual labour and skilled tasks.
Selection Criteria
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (Water Reticulation or Plumbing), Civil Construction or working towards.
- Demonstrated relevant operational experience and knowledge in construction or maintenance activities related to water network assets, including competencies in operation of large/small plant, tools and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within teams, with a capability and commitment for good communication and problem solving that provides efficient and effective customer service.
- Relevant knowledge of maintenance standards and demonstrated competency in the application of materials for construction.
- Demonstrated competency in reading drawings and maps.
- Hold and maintain current C Class drivers licence without restriction and WHS Construction Induction White Card.
- Applicants will also have a willingness to obtain Working in Confined Spaces certificate and. Council promotes career growth and upskilling through learning & development.
