Inertia has a great opportunity for an Engineer experienced in water modelling and analysis to expand their skills in flood engineering. Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent
• Industry accreditation/membership desirable.
• 2+ years' experience in stormwater and flood engineering within the design and construction industry environment in QLD
• Experience in preparing Stormwater Management Plans (SMPs), Hydrologic Impact Assessments (HIAs), Flood Studies, general stormwater/flood correspondence and Drainage Studies,
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2019 (ARR2019) and the Queensland Urban Drainage Manual (QUDM)
• Knowledge of and ability to apply engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize priority software such as TUFLOW, MUSIC, and QGIS for flood modelling and analysis is desirable but not essential. We can train you if you have the passion.
