About the role:

We have a permanent opportunity based in Karratha for a Water Industry Technician.

You will be responsible for operating, repairing and maintaining advanced ultrafiltration water/wastewater plants to optimise process and delivery outputs through monitoring, analysis and corrective action.

What the role will involve:

·         Using your full range of trade skills to operate and maintain a treatment plant

·         Performing routine maintenance tasks

·         Attend and repair breakdown tasks in safe and timely manner

·         Required to work alone and as part of a dynamic treatment team

·         Once Trained in plant operations be part of an on call standby roster

Key skills and experience:

We are seeking a Trade qualified candidate (Electrical or Mechanical), ideally possessing strong experience and knowledge in the use of SCADA and atmospheric monitoring equipment (desirable) along with:

·         W.A ‘C’ Class driver’s licenses

·         Certificate III National Water Package (Treatment) (desirable)

·         Relevant High Risk Licences, LF, EWP, DG, CV (desirable)

Your dedication to Occupational Health and Safety including hazard identification and well developed communication skills are essential for this position along with the following:

·         Ability to work on a standby roster

·         Ability to work autonomously and part of a team to ensure outcomes are achieved.
