The Position
The position will be responsible for the ongoing development, coordination, and improvement of AlburyCity's water and wasteWater Quality and Environmental management systems.
The opportunity will have oversight of all compliance and verification requirements regarding the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, environmental policies, and government regulations.

Qualifications & experience
- Degree in a relevant science, applied science or engineering discipline or equivalent relevant work experience that can be associated with the position requirements.
- Strong background and experience in water and wastewater or related discipline.
- Previous familiarity with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, quality management systems and risk management practices.
- Maintain custodianship of AlburyCity's Drinking Water Management and Wastewater Environmental Management Systems.
- Enhancing and implementing practicable policies and procedures to ensure exceptional levels of ongoing compliance and emergency response.
- Providing subject matter expertise and support in relation to the optimisation of water and wastewater processes, the development of operational upgrades and reviews of facilities and processes.
- Customer engagement regarding water and wasteWater Quality and compliance issues.
- Providing oversight and coordination of AlburyCity's reclaimed water schemes and systems.
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
