About the Role We have an exciting full-time opportunity, to join the Site Services team in the role of Water Services supervisor, reporting to the Site Services Superintendent. In this role, you will Supervise a team of various technical disciplines inclusive of Plumbers, Mechanical fitters, Sprinkler fitters and wastewater treatment operators (both Employees and Embedded Contractors) to maintain both production and non-production critical equipment. The scope includes maintenance of piping, valves and instrumentation for the following: Production critical dust suppression network Potable water network inclusive of health compliance Fire services Sewage network inclusive of health and environmental compliance Responsibilities include: An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development Ensuring conformance with the BHP, Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations Supporting the health and well-being and sustainable development of team members Build and maintain relationships across departments to achieve positive outcomes. Adherence to work management principles and discipline. Adherence to all BOS practices and core routines Supporting continuous improvement in Site Services and customers Liaise with and maintain alignment between key stakeholders and functional partners. Support the strategic direction and future state plans for Site Services Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coaching field leadership activities About You As the successful candidate, you will possess the following: Strong safety leadership skills and a history of field leadership participation Proficient in BHP systems, 1SAP (work management), controlled documents (Tempo), D2 and Success Factors Proven ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Understanding of the BHP Operating System Current unrestricted West Australian "C" class licence Strong leadership experience in leading and developing teams. An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn. Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations. Strong understanding of interfacing with production and maintenance teams Strong technical understanding of hydraulic or mechanical related maintenance.
