About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join the Sales team at Pioneer, focusing on our Australian Dealer Network, along with offering support to our international markets. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will build strong working relationship both domestically and abroad to offer dealer and customer support, identify new sales opportunities and grow our distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by developing competitive and profitable sales proposals and tender documents.
- Supports our Dealer Network to achieve departmental sales budget and business plan.
- Increase sales revenue by supporting dealers to grow business in respective territories.
- Continually nurtures personal relationships with Dealers and support to increase sales and grow the Dealers business.
- Identify new sales opportunities in the respective markets and work with the Sales Manager to convert opportunities into sales.
- Management of our CRM systems to track activity in sales channel.
- Become the go to person, for both internal and external stakeholders for account related queries.
- Reach out to dealers on a regular basis seeking information and status on their yearly sales targets.
- Maintaining regular follow-up with Project Management team to achieve smooth operation processes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within our sales and account management processes.
- Measure and track territory performances and establish working plans, to turn around under-performing areas.
- Take a proactive approach to understanding each dealer’s unique business’ and then with consultation with the sales manager, facilitate initiatives to help them improve.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a sales role in the Rural Infrastructure industry – experience in the water storage industry will be highly regarded.
- Proven sales or account management success.
- Strong customers service, interpersonal and relationship building skills – with the ability to communicate, negotiate and develop a strong rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of CRM systems, Microsoft suit and social media platforms.
- Analytical aptitude, with demonstrated experience in business mapping and execution.
- Results driven attitude.
- Is a team player and is comfortable working in a close-nit and open plan office environment.
