Due to winning new projects KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a QA/QC Lead for a Project in WA. This will be FIFO on a 2:1 roster POH Perth only.
This role will be on a fixed term basis for the lifeline of the construction project which is estimated to be around 6/7 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out review of Technical Data to ensure compliance with Client Specifications.
- Develop Technical improvements in relation to Quality aspects for the KAEFER Core Business disciplines (Insulation, Protective Coatings, Fire Protection, Scaffolding and Mechanicals)
- Comply with all aspects of the Company Quality Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Ensure that the quality requirements of the Clients are adhered to at all times.
- Responsibility for improvement, development and maintenance of the KAEFER Management System (KMS Technical and Quality).
- Ensure that all products or services delivered to clients meet the strict Quality Standards set by the Company at all times.
- Conduct Process Audits on KAEFER work sites to ensure Compliance with Quality requirements.
- Prepare Work Procedures and Method Statements in compliance with Good Work Practices and Project Contractual Specifications.
- Development of Work Method Statement/s and Inspection Test Plans.
- Identify areas for cost management through Quality Initiatives.
- Prepare QA/QC documentation for Tender / Bid submissions including Core Business disciplines (Insulation, Protective Coatings, Fire Protection, Scaffolding and mechanical drawings as per client requirements.
- Provide Quality and Technical Support to all KAEFER (Oceania) work sites.
- Implement Job Specific Training Procedures and maintain Training Attendance Records.
- Assist Site Management in resolving any discrepancies and ambiguities with clients regarding site/actual conditions against Drawings, Methodology and Project Specifications.
- Conduct Material inspections and review of Documentation to ensure compliance to Project Technical requirements including regular random inspections.
- Conduct in-house research and/or technical development of materials / equipment or systems to determine potential problems that may be encountered during the installation or application process.
About You
- Demonstrated experience as a QA/QC Lead preferably within similar industry.
- Mechanical / Elextrical and Painting background desired.
- Excellent documentation and record keeping skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Problem solving and analytical skills addressing quality issues.
