Elligo is seeking a Web and Graphic Designer responsible for supporting the creative strategy and execution of web design/development and Graphic design services within our patient recruitment and marketing department. This highly creative role will work within our client services group to help develop websites and creative materials for clinical trial patient recruitment. *Only candidates who submit a creative portfolio will be considered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Lead the concept development and execution of both print and web deliverables for design projects, including but not limited to:
- Create logo design and visual mood board concepts for clinical trials
- Format and design cohesive branded clinical trial materials:
- Print materials such as posters, brochures, booklets, promotional items
- Digital materials such as social media or online campaign graphics, and video storyboards
- Plan and design website and landing pages for client projects by contributing to content planning and user experience
- Fully executing mockups, graphics / assets creation, and front-end web development using WordPress to design and adapt themes
- Work closely with web developer to ensure proper setup of websites and assisting with testing and making decisions on functionality updates
- Work with multiple project managers, marketing team members and web team to review and strategize clients’ needs, and execute deliverables within tight timelines.
- Update and improving our client’s websites and ensure they are set up for optimal marketing and lead generation performance
- Assist with video production and editing with vendors
- Actively contribute new, creative ideas that will help push our client focused design services and success forward
- Maintain consistently high work standards and proactively learn new techniques, software, and trends in graphic design
- Ensure appropriate QA/QC of deliverables by following proofing processes and appropriate file organization
- Assist with translations of materials and websites as needed
- Help to improve processes internally and client facing when necessary
- Maintain and keep an organized file system and backing up files accordingly
- Responsible for reporting all activity, timelines, project standings to Director or project manager daily, or as necessary
- Responsible for recording all design hours for all projects on the necessary platforms

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
- 4-8 years post-grad, professional experience working on marketing or design team, or within an agency is preferred
- Mastery using Adobe Creative Cloud suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, in addition to PowerPoint
- Must have experience developing websites in Wordpress CMS and have advanced knowledge of website front end design/ development and web best practices including testing and compliance. WP Engine experience preferred.
- Must share a creative design portfolio that demonstrates well composed, functional visual designs for web, advertising and print.
- Ability to independently manage simultaneous client projects in an organized manner and be responsible for meeting deadlines for several active projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and effectively deliver information to clients.
- Must be a fast and efficient worker and able to collaboratively work together with several project delivery teams.
- Able to execute content review and proofing as well as contribute to creative copy editing.
- SEM and SEO knowledge is a plus and familiarity with clinical research or medical industry is ideal, but not required.
