• Salary: $84,522 to $94,003 - ASO5 - Full Time / Ongoing appointment

Overview:The Assurance Consultant position is a key role within the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) Governance Advisory Services branch and is accountable to the Team Leader Assurance for:

• Conducting and reporting on internal audit projects undertaken as per the approved DHW Internal Audit Plan.
• Undertaking special projects and investigations on behalf of DHW.
• Inputting into plans and programs of work for the Internal Audit team and assisting in the facilitation of external provider reviews as required.
• Providing professional advice to management regarding risks and controls, processes and systems at DHW.
