• Salary: $97,022 to $102,626 - ASO6 - Full Time / Ongoing appointment

Overview:The Senior Assurance Consultant position is a key role within the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) Governance Advisory Services branch and is accountable to the Team Leader Assurance for:

• Assisting in the development of the DHW risk based Internal Audit Plan.
• Planning, conducting, and reporting on internal audit projects undertaken as per the approved DHW Internal Audit Plan.
• Managing and undertaking special projects and investigations on behalf of DHW.
• Inputting into plans and programs of work for the Internal Audit team and assisting in the facilitation of external provider reviews as required.
• Providing professional advice to management within DHW regarding risks and controls, processes, and systems.
