Web Developer (Frontend, Canberra)

We’re looking to add a Web Developer (Frontend) to our team in Canberra with flexible work from home arrangements - to deliver creative Drupal websites and applications.

We help progressive organisations identify and make the most of digital opportunities—delivering high-profile web and mobile applications, from creative cultural projects to government products used by millions of people.

Together, we focus on one goal: crafting meaningful digital products that create public good.

Following on from our success in Canberra, we've grown a team in Melbourne. The shared energy of being in the one city brings with it a greater connection, depth of experience, and insight to the Oxide team!

We have an office in Canberra and co-work for around 3 days a week, especially for social gatherings and collaborative work beyond the home - reflecting our hybrid model of flexible working arrangements.

Modern technical stack:

• You will build Drupal 9/10 websites (site-building and frontend), theme with Bootstrap 5 and SASS/PostCSS.
• Work alongside Backend Devs, as well as Javascript Devs who deliver decoupled frontends using React.
• Great developer-first environment with cloud hosting, and contemporary tools like Docker, Drush, Ahoy, Make, Git, along with BitBucket and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

• At least a few years of relevant frontend dev experience (building websites with a CMS, implementing designs, developing themes etc).
• Full-stack is a bonus but not required.
• Alignment with our values and culture.
• Based in Canberra or surrounds.
