As a result of a secured engagement with a critical intelligence community customer, Helix requires a Web Developer with a TSPV clearance to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications that support our intelligence operations.
You will collaborate with a team of experts to create robust, secure, and scalable solutions that meet the unique challenges of the intelligence community. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Ensure the security and integrity of web applications in compliance with top-secret clearance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Optimise web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our web development practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret PV Clearance is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in web development within a top-secret or highly secure environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Security Best Practices: Strong understanding of web security best practices and experience implementing secure coding standards.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics.
