The Position:

The Web Developer for our Brisbane Manufacturing site is a newly created IT role with endless growth and development opportunities on a local and global level.

Our Team:

The Web Developer is a Digital Site Expert for our Manufacturing site and will be integrated into the CHC Digital M&S team based in Virginia, which is overseeing M&S solution portfolio, roadmap, and projects globally for CHC GBU (Global Business Unit). This mainly includes supporting existing and future solutions for integrated functions (i.e., Manufacturing ERP, Procurement, Laboratories, Analytics, Engineering, Network).

Role responsibilities:

This is an IT role for a Web Developer with: Application Integration, Infrastructure and Networking skills preferred.

• Acting as the intermediary between the business and digital- the Digital Site Expert will use a deep understanding of business processes and technology to help multi-functional stakeholders achieve their desired outcomes by:
• Delivering Functional and/or technical analysis and expertise for Projects, Products or Solution within their area of specialty and solving complex problems as an individual and a team
• Create prototypes and co-design innovative solutions
• To lead and execute Functional /Technical expertise end-to-end through the lifecycle (plan, design, build, run) of Digital Product belonging to his/her domain of expertise
• Act as 2IC and backup for the Digital CHC Site manager in their absence
• Address and communicate to teams the necessary information and deliver prompt, efficient and quality service
• Work with Digital and Business stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture the core needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements
• Engage with and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands
• Promote architectural consistency and usability standards; define and execute test cases
• Identify opportunities for business-led delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information
• Proactively monitor solutions status and act when requires, act as business escalation point for operational issue for his domain
• Coordinate Roadmap delivery with our partners including incremental improvement
• Analyse, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications
• Document training materials for implemented solution- Deliver training to the end users and support teams (Owns training in his/her functional/ technical domain)
• Ensure on time/scope/quality & cost delivery of features
• Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues
• Manage change management of existing and future solutions.
• Work with Digital Site Manager to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business need.
• Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
• Ensure that Role design/change (security & compliance) will be consider during the solution design
• Partner with business and Digital to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements
• Ensures that Digital Products/Solution/Computerized systems meet all controls to address applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements and be responsible of deliver/validate compliant documentation on his domain of expertise
• Ensure compliance with the architecture standards and guidelines and the correct interface between applications under the scope of responsibility
• Support Sanofi for audits and inspections involving computerized systems
• Contribute actively to Operational excellence: facilitating risk management and conducting/contributing to Problem root causes analysis, act as L2 support on her/his domain of expertise
• Provide inputs for selection purpose and/or performance monitoring concerning Statement of Work (SOW) with vendors and subcontracting partners
• Proactively upskill on the domain: develop sustainable functional competencies to support the business and develop expertise in the technical solution configuration

About you

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree (Industrial Engineering, Information Technology etc.) or another technical field

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 4 x years experience in an Information Technology role, developing web based applications and integration process points with execution systems (SAP, LIMS, MES)
• Background in Pharmaceutical, Health or Consumer Goods (Manufacturing) industry within operational excellence, continuous improvement, process transformation or similar
• Understand GxP business processes
• Agile practices and Networking Infrastructure engineering (nice to have)
• Full cycle project implementation in Digital systems
• Power BI experience an advantage
