We are busier than ever and searching for our next Superstar Weddings & Events Executive, to join our rapidly expanding, innovative and award-winning Conference & Events Team!

About the role

Working in a fun and lively environment, the Weddings & Events Executive is responsible for selling and coordinating weddings and special events for DOMA Hotels. This role involves ensuring clear, effective and professional communication and negotiation skills with the multi-operational teams and all other relevant outlets within the hotels.

Responsibilities include;

• coordinating weddings, special events and conferences across Doma Hotels, including preparing and communicating event orders
• driving sales by providing accurate and timely quotations and contracts for conferences and events covering venue, menu and accommodation costs to enhance the success of events
• conduct site inspections to showcase the portfolio of Doma Hotels to new and existing clients when required
• liaising with the operations and kitchen teams to ensure high quality, impeccable service and experience is provided to clients 
• develop and maintain a contact and customer database within iVvy 
• representing Doma Hotels at industry trade shows, conferences and networking events when required 

What you will bring

• ability to deal with a diverse client base and meet strict deadlines
• well-developed organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• excellent administration skills 
• knowledge of iVvy , Opera and Event Draw software systems desirable
• a friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to offer outstanding service
• immaculate grooming and presentation
• ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• ability to work a Tuesday-Saturday working week
• a valid working visa for Australia
