The Conference & Event Sales Executive challenges our expectations and brings new and exciting ideas to create exceptional guest experiences across our amazing spaces.
Some duties include:
- Qualifying incoming leads, generating proposals and converting business
- Managing your accounts from initial enquiry until hand off to our dedicated event coordinators
- Finding opportunities to upsell and grow revenue ahead of the market
- Working with the team to use our space in creative ways and maximise our asset
- Collaborating with your colleagues and sharing your ideas on how to generate and convert new business
- Attending industry functions and familiarisations as required
- Meeting revenue targets

Skills & experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- The ability to work under pressure in one of Canberra's busiest venues
- Passion for excellence
- Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills
- Team player
- Previous experience using Ivvy preferred but not essential
