Our ideal applicant for the Workshop team will have the following skills and attributes:
• Ability to pass AS/NZS 2980 weld testing criteria.
• Work with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Eye for detail and pride in your work
• Current forklift ticket
• Current Drivers Licence
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime and some weekends
• Willingness to do shift work (days/nights or rotation)
• Commitment to safety
• Experience in a light, medium and heavy fabrication
• Proficient in the use of Air arc and Oxy fuel torch for fabrication and repair tasks.
• Operating of crane hoists to move small loads.
• Measuring parts to replicate without drawings.
• Problem Solving – Can identify and resolve problems in a timely manner or develop alternative solutions.
• Technical Skills - Shares expertise with others.
• Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities, supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
• Quality Management - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
