Welder/Fabricator

Seeking qualified Welders/Fabricators for fulltime positions in Hallam Victoria.

Our client is looking for a safety focused and motivated Welder/Fabricators to join their team on a fulltime basis in Hallam, Victoria. You will assist with day-to-day operations to ensure targets are met.
Welder: Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:

• Build up work internal and external using MIG, Sub Arc and Hot Spray
• Fabrication from samples and engineered drawings
• General duties including use of grinding, cutting (friction & gas cutting), welding (GMAW, TIG, stick), polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels
• Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry out work safely
• Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner
• Complete all Quality Assurance (QA) documentation throughout the job process
• Adherence to all company procedures
• Assist in the facilitation of a harmonious environment, working efficiently in the Fabrication team
• Other duties as directed by Management, commensurate with classification and training
• Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and workshop in general to 5S Standard.

To be successful for this role you will hold the following qualifications/skills:

• Relevant industry experience – Essentia
• Minimum three years experience in this role or similar will be highly regarded
• Mechanical / Fabrication Trade Qualification
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong computer literacy with proficient knowledge of Inventor and AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Time management, planning and organization skills
