Production Welding Team Member

The Role Due to expansion and growth within the company, there is a new, exciting full-time position as a Production Welding Team Member role within our Wangaratta facility. To be considered for this exciting role you will must have a great team based positive attitude. Ideally you will have had experience in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read drawings. The applicant will also need to cross train into other areas of the business as required. You will need to be committed to following the production schedule and perform tasks to a high standard. Duties
- Including Include, but are not limited to -
- Weld/Fabricate products to a high standard, from shop drawings.
- Grind, drill, deburr & fasten using hand tools.
- Be actively involved in cleaning & organising your workplace.
- As part of our cross-training program, perform other associated tasks as required. Requirements
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- General welding and or mechanical assembly – Aluminium MIG Welding Highly Regarded
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand job sheets and drawings, reading instructions and take direction.
- Experience with plant machinery. Forklift licence – Highly Regarded.
- Driver’s licence.
- Work in accordance with standard operating procedures and established criteria.
- Work under direct supervision either individually or in a team.
- Follow safe work practices and report workplace hazards.
- An excellent work ethic and proven history of reliability.
