We are looking for a Well Integrity Engineer to coordinate Well Integrity compliance for offshore wells during operate and maintain phase of well lifecycle, as per Well Integrity Standards.
About the Role
The role is to ensure that Well Integrity data is gathered, analysed, and used to identify and report risks, and facilitating effective risk management plans to be in place throughout the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating compliance with Well Integrity Management Plan (WIMP)
- Developing and updating well barrier status diagrams for wells with risk elevation / primary barrier breakdown
- Ensuring all Beach wells are captured and up to date in the electronic Well Integrity Management System (Wellmaster IMS)
- Preparing Monthly Wellmaster IMS internal reporting to Well Integrity risk owners and Wells TA1
- Coordinating Well Integrity risk assessments after initial analysis of the Well Integrity measurements and data
- Regulatory reporting of Well Integrity status; activities / forward planning as per regulatory expectations
- Coordinating the approval of deviations/dispensations with relevant Wells.
- Engaging and coordinating contractors with scope of work to conduct Well integrity and Wellhead routine maintenance programs, onsite diagnostics technical support.
About You
We are looking for technically proficient individuals with industry experience in Well Integrity, well engineering or petroleum engineering. Demonstrated understanding of Well Integrity discipline including drilling and completions, well bore physics, well maintenance, and Well Integrity hazards including corrosive and erosive mechanisms.
With sound risk assessment and risk management skills, minimising potential safety and environmental risk and Well Control Certification (onshore and/or offshore drilling and cased hole operations). This Certification is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain.
You will be delivery focused - with the ability to build fruitful and value-adding relationships with a range of stakeholders including Beach Energy Safety, Drilling, Completions and Production teams.
