About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Wellbeing & Safety Advisor to provide specialist advice and expertise in the key areas of organisational Wellbeing, Health and Safety, including return to work activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Implement the Institute’s Wellbeing and Mental Health Strategy in collaboration with the internal stakeholders
- Plan, develop and deliver a series of staff events and activities aimed at promoting employee wellbeing
- Maintain and enhance the Institute’s systems and reporting in managing safety, including psychological safety, as appropriate
- Manage initiatives related to a safety first culture across the Institute
- Actively represent the People & Capability on the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) Consultative Committee
- Manage RTW and workers compensation with a focus on early intervention and supporting return to work

About You:
You will be an experienced and trusted advisor on the topics of organisation Wellbeing And Safety, and demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in managing the Wellbeing and Health function and related matters.
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence for decision making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide expert advice on Wellbeing And health issues.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and promoting Wellbeing And health employee events to foster a positive healthy culture.
- Relevant qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Human Resources or related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to collate, manipulate, analyse and interpret workforce data and information into a workforce report.
