Safety Solutions is a West Australian based WHS consultancy with clients across a wide range of industry sectors and locations in metro and regional WA. Our primary goal is to make workplaces safer.
We are experiencing ongoing growth and as such currently looking for an experienced WHS Consultant to join our team.
This role is Perth based with occasional ad-hoc regional visits when needed. This is not a FIFO role.
You will be responsible for providing a range of services to our clients including:
- Development and ongoing support, implementation and monitoring of WHS management systems
- Workplace compliance inspections and audits
- WorkSafe Plan / ISO 45001 Auditing
- Safety and health procedural and other WHS document development
- General workplace based WHS coaching, guidance and monitoring
- Being our clients' point of call for WHS assistance
- Incident investigations.
This position would be ideal for someone looking for lots of variety, able to collaborate and give guidance, and who doesn't want to be permanently situated at the same workplace. Our clients' workplaces and their industries, have needs that vary considerably, making this ideal for someone who can think on their feet and enjoys change.
ESSENTIAL criteria to being considered for this role:
- Australian working rights
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A thorough understanding of (and a practicable approach to) WHS legislation
- Diploma OSH / WHS
- AS:4801 or ISO:45001 Lead Auditor (preferable Integrated Auditor - WHS/QA/E)
- A variety of safety experience in multiple industries
- Incident Investigation qualifications / experience (ICAM, RCA, TapRoot, etc.)
- WHSMP, Procedural and risk assessment documentation preparation / review experience
- A good sense of humour
