As part of an exciting time in the development of the company, a position is currently available for an OHS Advisor to play an important role in the organisation.
This will be a part time opportunity with a maximum of 24hrs/week
Roles and responsibilities:

• Conducting site visits to check all OHS requirements by making sure the site is a safe place to work
• Ensuring all candidates are compliant with working rights and appropriate tickets on a regular basis
• Communicating key stakeholders on WHS matters
• Assisting with the determining WHS legal requirements for the work activities
• Reviewing Site WHS Start up documentations prior to candidates starting work
• Ensuring all records are kept up to date under WHS guidelines
• Assisting with the coordination of injury management/return to work plans/ recovery at work for injured employees

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS related fields or in the process of completing
• Experience working in a blue collar labour hire agency
• Recent experience in an HSE Advisor position within the fabrication and mining contractor industry
• Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written) and experience working and interacting with site personnel.
• Australian working rights
• Valid driver's licence
