About the Role
As the WHS Manager you will play a role in supporting and driving the organisations commitment to Workplace, Health & Safety improvement and excellence. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing and facilitating the organisation’s Workplace, Health & Safety programs and policies. This position works in partnership with operational leaders and managers to drive excellence in Health and Safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with and support the senior leadership team on the implementation of safety standards and responsibilities
- Promote and be a role model for Safety leadership
- Bring new ideas and contemporary approaches, safety direction, planning, implementation and outcomes
- Support and implement improvements across areas such as WHS policies, procedures and systems
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong experience managing a WHS function within an operational, multi-site environment, ideally within the Manufacturing field
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Effective communication skills at all levels of the organisation
