Due to growth in our estate planning and administration areas, we are looking for another exceptional lawyer to join our team. 

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Wills and Estates Lawyer to join our team in our Maleny office. As a key member of our firm, you will provide expert legal advice and guidance in matters related to wills, estate planning, probate, and administration. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions and exceptional service. 

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to understand their needs and concerns
• Advising clients on estate planning matters
• Drafting wills, EPA's, trusts, and other estate planning documents
• Advising clients on estate administration and probate matters
• Administering estates efficiently
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure timeliness in completing client work 
• Effectively communicate with clients, team members and other stakeholders
• Undertake some business development activities in the local area

Requirements:

• Admission as a lawyer in Queensland 
• Current practising certificate, or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated experience in Succession law
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation
• Commitment to providing excellent client service
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced legal environment
• Driver's license and own car
• 2+ years PAE preferred
