Wine Bar Duty Manager / Functions Coordinator

We are seeking a BAR DUTY MANAGER / FUNCTIONS COORDINATOR to join our team. We are a Subiaco WINE BAR with a big focus on being a welcoming, friendly space with a great culture.

After opening mid-2022, the venue has grown and established itself as a gorgeous WINE BAR with a cracking wine list and incredible food.

We are a proudly independent small team of hospo heads. We need a like-minded vino lover to help further the vision and continue to grow as one of Perth's leading WINE BARs. 

VENUE

⭐ Stunning 1920’s heritage building with a stylish interior;

⭐ A strong focus on good wines only, with a goal to make wine accessible for all. You'll find Italian Nebbiolos next to Swan Valley Pet Nats;

⭐ A solid front of house team with no filler.

YOU

⭐ Take initiative, be trustworthy, strong leadership and be passionate about wine;

⭐ Customer service is number one. Bubbly, chatty and can turn it on when you need to;

⭐ Available Tuesday to Sunday (5 day work week);

⭐ Experience in a similiar functions role preferred, but genuine passion and the right attitude go a long way.

FUNCTIONS ROLE

⭐ Management and execution of functions. Responding to function emails / calls. Updating Functions Pack;

⭐ Liaising with front of house and kitchen staff for running of functions;

⭐ Reporting of function outcome (sales, COG, etc.).

BAR ROLE

Assisting Venue Manager with:

⭐ Managing and overseeing service;

⭐ Ordering and stock control, regular review of costings;

⭐ Staff hiring and training;

⭐ Administrative and back office duties.
