HPA Incorporated has been a long-term provider of disability support services and supported employment within the Darwin Region since 1963. We continue to support people living with disability through delivering outreach services, providing affordable accommodation, and creating job opportunities through supported employment. The Standards govern and define our service delivery policy and person-centred approach to support people with a disability.
The Winnellie Site Managers(WSM) role has operational oversight of Kokoda Industries, Trash and Treasure recycling facility, Breaking Ground, Shoal Bay Waste Transfer Station and Archers Waste Transfer Station. WSM will actively seeking new projects and contracts through research and development for supported employment growth.
This role reports directly to the General Manager - Operations and sits in the Senior Leadership Team
Duties
- Research, design and implement innovative sustainable business models to increase HPA Inc capacity to deliver employment opportunities for people with disability.
- Work efficiently and effectively with business unit managers on development of innovative projects in line with each business unit operational plan
- Development and implementation of Business Case process with General Manager – Operations (GMO) for submission to CEO and Board Executive for approval
- Research and development
- Actively seeking new projects and contracts through research and development for supported employment growth with GMO.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new projects and contracts ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislations prior to hand over to Business unit Managers.
- Operational oversight of Kokoda Industries, Trash and Treasure recycling facility, Breaking Ground, Shoal Bay WTS and Archers WTS.
- Communicate, liaise, and submit timely reports with our contractors and clients.
- Development and implementation of operational plans in conjunction with General Manager – Operations to achieve contractual obligations.
- Contribute to the development and management of budgets for project operations, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
