Wintel Administrator

We are on the lookout for a skilled Wintel Administrator to join the IT Infrastructure team. This role involves routine Business as Usual (BAU) tasks, including deploying group policy updates and software/application patches for Windows systems, under the guidance of our IT Infrastructure Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement application patching using cloud and on-premises tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Configure and manage Group Policies for security and system updates.
• Regular application packaging and deployment.
• Maintain Windows-based infrastructure roles (DNS, DHCP, Microsoft EntraID, etc.) in Azure and on-premises environments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in patch and Group Policy management.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager for deploying patches.
• Proficient in application packaging and deployment.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and desktop environments.
• Capable of documenting patching/deployment processes and procedures.
• Experienced in managing Microsoft infrastructure services (DHCP, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy).

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Defender, Citrix XenDesktop, VMware VDI, PowerShell or Azure automation tools, VMware vSphere/ESXI, Office 365 & Azure management, and applying PSPF ISM or NIST security frameworks.
