About The Pelvic Pain Clinic
The Pelvic Pain Clinic, operating within the Garden Family Medical Clinic in Murdoch, is at the forefront of addressing chronic pelvic conditions through a holistic and integrated approach. As part of a network of 22 government-funded clinics across Australia, we are dedicated to innovating and improving care for individuals facing chronic conditions such as pelvic pain and endometriosis. Our mission is to extend our reach, particularly to the underserved areas of rural and remote Western Australia, through effective telehealth services. We have realised that the current access to psychology support in many parts of WA needs to be improved.
The Role
We are currently seeking a casual or part-time Psychologist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals dealing with chronic pelvic pain, sexual health issues, infertility, incontinence, endometriosis, pregnancy loss, PTSD and Trauma, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and associated chronic pain conditions. This role is pivotal in providing psychological support and management for stress, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and the emotional challenges related to these conditions.

Ideal Candidate:
-Experience or training in managing psychological aspects of chronic pelvic pain, sexual health, Women's Health, infertility, endometriosis, pregnancy loss, PCOS, and related pain conditions.
-Interest in working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
-Enthusiasm for contributing to patient education and community awareness through various media.
-Commitment to reaching underserved populations, particularly in rural and remote areas.
-Willingness to embrace telehealth as a means of service delivery.
