The Role
Reporting through to the Leadership Team, you’ll collaborate with key business stakeholders to ensure all WHS practices are embedded and maintained. This will include:
- Creating, updating, overseeing implementation and adherence to relevant policies and procedures
- Supporting managers with understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities
- Following up on incident reports and investigations
- Fostering a culture of compliance through clear, consistent communication, training and development
- Conducting routine audits to ensure adherence to various policies
- Performing Return to Work Coordinator duties
- Following up with Managers on incident reports and investigations
- Process improvement activities across the division
- Provide general, HR administrative support as required e.g. assisting with contracts, onboarding and policies
- Experience working in a WHS or OHS role where you’ve been capable of working autonomously
- Comfortable picking up general HR administration tasks to support the broader function
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with leaders across the organisation to influence positive workplace behaviour and compliance with various WHS/OHS requirements
- Strong attention to detail, well organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in WHS, OHS, HR or related field
