Think Safe Solutions (TSS) is an independently owned and operated Safety and Human Resources consulting company, providing advice and guidance on developing, implementing and maintaining systems that champion a culture of safety and performance in the Northern Territory. We make safety simple by providing the expertise and support needed to navigate the complexities of workplace safety, from risk management to regulatory compliance.
What's in it for you?
You will complete a Certificate IV Work Health and Safety over 18 months through a combination of formal training and on-the-job experience.
As a TSS trainee, you will have ongoing coaching and mentoring from our team of experienced consultants. Our diverse range of clients means we can offer exposure to multiple industries and business structures to ensure you can fulfill your education and training requirements.
This unique combination of formal education and on-the-job training will give you experience in:
Preparing basic reports
Managing the HSEQ inbox
Maintain information systems and registers
Scheduling and coordinating client meetings
Verifying data and records within databases to ensure compliance
Create and distribute workplace alerts and bulletins
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, colleagues and participate in working groups
Contribute to the development and review of health and safety policies, procedures, tools, and resources
What you'll bring to the table…
To make the most of this opportunity you will have:
Excellent communication and digital literacy skills.
Ability to understand and build capability in Work Health and safety systems.
Ability to work as part of a team, learn on the job and undertake formal training.
Strong time management and attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to provide support and services enabling projects to have accurate information and tracking of progress and issues.
