Job Title: WorkCoverAdministrator and Injury Line Call Taker

Position Type: PermanentPart Time Tuesday to Thursday. (potential hybrid role)

Salary: $61,600 Including Super - Pro Rata
Key Responsibilities:
- Claim Notifications Nationally:
- Manage the end-to-end process of WorkCover claim notifications across all locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to relevant authorities.
- Employer Excess Management:
- Monitor and administer employer excess policies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on excess-related matters.
- Wage Reimbursement:
- Oversee the reimbursement process for lost wages, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Liaise with finance and HR departments to facilitate seamless wage reimbursement.
- Insurer Follow-Ups:
- Communicate effectively with insurance providers to expedite claims processing.
- Maintain a proactive approach to resolving any claim-related issues.
- WorkCover Admin Duties:
- Assist in various administrative tasks related to WorkCover, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- First Point of Contact for Injury Line Reporting:
- Act as the primary contact for employees reporting injuries during business hours.
- Provide empathetic and efficient triage management, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.
- Triage Management of Calls:
- Handle incoming calls related to workplace injuries with professionalism and empathy.
- Organize medical appointments and manage the coordination of necessary support services.
- Stakeholder Contact:
- Maintain open and effective communication with relevant stakeholders, including employees, managers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure stakeholders are informed and involved in the injury management process.
- Handover to Injury Managers:
- Facilitate a smooth transition of injury cases to designated injury managers.
- Provide comprehensive handover documentation to support ongoing case management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within WorkCover administration would be well regarded.
- General knowledge of WorkCover regulations and relevant legislation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in relevant software and databases.
