DISPATCH / CALL TAKER

We are currently seeking Casual Dispatchers/Call Taker to join our team. The Dispatch/Call Taker will be responsible for resourcing, scheduling and efficient logistical operations of personnel to ensure continuity of service delivery.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working under the direction of the Dispatch/Call Taker, you will be responsible for efficient patient transfer for Mental Health or Non-Emergency Patients interhospital and community.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
· Manage crews in patient movement, transport, and best clinical outcomes in accordance with contractual expectations and KPl's
· Coordinate call taking from customers and subsequent booking procedures.
· Plan and dispatch bookings to maximise the efficient use of resources.
· Ensure accuracy of booking and patient transport data entered the Wilson Medic One booking system.
· Work with Rosters to ensure most efficient crew allocations.
· Provide reports for any customer complaints or queries.
· Provide reports on any excessive delays or other noteworthy incidents.
· Completing daily Summaries of the workload for the day.
· Completing Timesheets and EOM reports.

· Experience with patient transport requirements and service delivery
· Ability to bring out the best in other staff.
· Ability to represent Wilson Medic One in a professional manner to customers and industry key stakeholders.
· Can direct resources and other staff in a positive environment.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to perform under pressure and balance business needs with the needs of individuals.
· Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously.
· Reliable, positive and have a resilient attitude.
· Microsoft Outlook and Excel knowledge.
