Hospitality Administration Assistant
The Tooradin & District Sports Club is excited to offer a rare opportunity for an experienced hospitality worker with an administration background to become part of our close-knit team. In this role, you will work closely with the Manager, assisting in all back-of-house areas. We are currently hiring for a part-time position of 32 hours per week, with the potential for full-time by including one duty manager shift per week. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your extensive knowledge of hospitality systems such as System One, MyTAB, Keno Connect, Bepoz/Vectron (or similar), Ebet, and BOS Portal.
- Apply your strong bookkeeping background to handle tasks including MYOB, WageEasy, QuickSuper, and Excel.
- Perform daily checks of emails, generate daily reports, conduct switchlink reporting, and manage strong room log reconciliations.
- Take responsibility for weekly creditor payments as well as the lodgement of PAYG, Payroll Tax, State Tax, and Superannuation.
- Exhibit a flair for advertising by creating promotional posters and social media posts using Canva.
- Utilise strong computer skills to handle all back-of-house operations efficiently.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in Hospitality Administration, demonstrating proficiency in the mentioned hospitality systems.
- Strong bookkeeping skills, including experience with MYOB, WageEasy, QuickSuper, and Excel.
- Proficiency in using Canva for creating promotional materials and social media posts.
- Excellent computer skills with a strong command of various software and systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage tasks efficiently within given deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to work additional shifts as required.
