About the roleOur client is currently looking for a lawyer/associate to join their high-performing WorkCover Insurance team in Melbourne. The position will work closely with experienced and respected partners and colleagues on a range of interesting and complex statutory compensation and common law damages matters.
About you- Have a relevant law degree and admitted in Australia
- Possess 2+ years of experience dealing with Statutory Compensation and Common law damages matters
- Familiar with Workers compensation legislation and case law and Transport Accident Act.
- Litigation experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive situations empathetically and professionally.
