We have an excellent & rare opportunity for a Workday Product Specialist to join our Group People Digital team in our Mascot Office on a permanent basis.
This role will support the development of Workday innovation and will serve as the subject matter expert on Workday’s HCM modules at the Qantas Group. You will work as a member of the People Digital team to support the business, interpret new requirements of the functional units and implement seamless cross-functional processes across the group. You will also manage the pipeline of innovation activity from business leads and facilitate Workday community participation.
Key responsibilities include:
Support all Workday HCM modules and how they interact and relate with internal end-to-end processes, including basic technical integration understanding
Documents processes, application of functionality and maintain accurate knowledge management resources
Represents People Digital team at internal cross functional project team
Build relationships with functional owners and project stakeholders to undertake analysis as required
Lead business requirements gathering process, document changes and manage stakeholder sign-off process
Measures, monitors and improves Workday processes and functional effectiveness to drive a great employee experience
Manages UAT for all changes to functional / technical changes to Workday and other related systems as appropriate
Develops and execute communication plan for users and supports functional change impact of new system releases or business improvement changes
You’ll have:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, IT or related discipline
5+ years recent experience in relevant People Digital application configuration
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders globally
Workday experience is beneficial, but not essential
Payroll or Remuneration experience desired
End-to-end and regression testing with defect logging
Technical experience working with another HRIS, ATS and/or LMS (preferably as a type of super user)
This is an exciting Group role supporting all Qantas Group businesses including Jetstar, Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Japan.
