The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leader Workers Compensation, you will work as part of a small team supporting a network of site based HSE professionals and business leaders to implement and support the LINX Cargo Care return to work and rehabilitation program.
You will be responsible for facilitating injury management and return to work processes and strategies to improve individual outcomes and business performance. Co-ordinating formal and informal claim reviews, you will assist in the development of claim management strategies to improve outcomes. You will also be required to assist with various claims management administration duties and maintain accurate documentation via our Injury Management System. You will contribute to the development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives across the business to improve individual employee health outcomes, employee engagement, and business performance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong communication skills, as well as demonstrated knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation.
Ideally you will bring the following:
- Experience managing all aspects of injury management, claims management and return to work.
- Ability to mentor and coach site-based personnel to improve return to work outcomes.
- Experience working with injury and incident management software.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with insurers, medical service providers and legal practitioners.
- Willingness for regular interstate travel
- Return to work and claims management experience, desirably across multiple jurisdictions.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Allied Health and previous rehab experience is highly desired.
