About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Strategy & Planning you will join a high performing, technically proficient team that is leading the department's workforce planning initiatives. Effectively operating as an end-to-end analyst, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your skills in data management and modelling, dashboard and reporting, and the development of analytics and insights for varying stakeholder groups.
As a Workforce Analyst you will:
- Broaden your understanding of strategic human resources and workforce planning.
- Aim to develop partnerships and work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Have strong attention to detail with the ability to quality assure data.
- Be able to work across concurrent deliverables and operate within specific timeframes.
- Work with both analysts and non-technical human resource professionals to develop insights that encourage holistic solutions to large scale workforce planning issues.
- Be able to analyse, evaluate and interpret workforce and related data, particularly in SQL, Excel and Access formats, including proactively proposing options and solutions on how this may be used to better understand the department's workforce needs.
- Highly desirable skills include:
- Basic skills in coding (e.g. VBA, SQL, and DAX) and is open to developing these skills.
- Use of advanced report and dashboard tools like Power BI, with an understanding of basic data modelling.
