About the role
The role of Workforce and roster coordinator involves optimising the available workforce by utilising rostering and scheduling systems and managing a casual labour pool to best meet customer requirements whilst promoting a sustainable workforce across the NT Operations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop SIL Rosters of Care to support management decision making regarding SIL recommendations
- Develop and manage SIL house rosters
- Review of specialised care needs/shift requirements and participant/staff matching
- Manage shift bidding and offers
- Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards
- An understanding of and commitment to the principles of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Working knowledge of workforce management principles, HSE, awards and roster optimization
- The ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with a range of stakeholders to optimize the best fit workforce for customers
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Experience developing rosters for part-time and casual workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to use client management systems(CMS)and Microsoft Office suite of programs, for example, Outlook, Word and Excel
