About the Role
We have several 12 month Fixed Term Workforce Development Project Manager positions which will work collaboratively with our Strategic Projects Lead to plan and execute specific projects that deliver the Clean Energy Council’s strategic and policy and advocacy initiatives to support the development of the renewable energy workforce.
The roles will involve management of interest and input from a broad range of stakeholders from across industry, education, government, civil society and trade unions in the management of specific programs.
Additionally, the role will connect with stakeholders and working groups across the workforce portfolio, which will include scheduling and convening meetings and managing relevant meeting content.
About You
You will have demonstrated experience in the planning and management of projects to ensure project outcomes are met in a timely manner. Your experience will include drafting of project initiation documents or project charters, establishing project steering groups, monitoring and reporting on key project deliverables, developing strategies to mitigate risks and issues and accurately reporting and delivering against all activities.
A strong background in stakeholder and contractor management is required for this position, with the ability to lead, develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external parties.
You will be tertiary qualified and your background experience, intellectual approach, curious nature and resourcefulness will enable you to successfully navigate the project world to support the renewable energy transformation.
A strong background in financial administration with the ability to oversee the management of the financials for all allocated projects is desirable. This will also include updating the CRM systems and preparing purchase orders and process payments for suppliers and all related activities.
You will have excellent communication skills with the demonstrated ability to prepare and present logical, succinct material as well as strong time management skills with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
You will also have strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex concepts comfortably.
