Our Ground Services team has an exciting opportunity for a highly resourceful and passionate Workforce Coordinator whom will report directly to the National Workforce Planning Manager. This role is a full-time position and will have a national scope.
The Workforce Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the management of Resource Planning across all locations, Australia. The job holder will contribute to the overall operational resource planning and management strategy through effective positioning and deployment of resources/equipment in support of the organisations goal of achieving excellence in the customer service experience.
This is role plays pivotal role in the resourcing aspects of budget planning and control for workforce management, nationally. The role will also be responsible for the management operational resources on the day of operation as well as partnering with the Training department for optimised training plans.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and recommend improvements to systems and processes (People, systems and equipment) to enhance operational effectiveness through review of established engagement standards, improved rosters, cross-utilization and process re-engineering.
- Coordinate the development of resource planning documentation;
- Meet deadlines and manage priorities as the workforce coordinator;
- Develop presentations, fact sheets and information documents relating to Workforce Planning to provide to internal and external stakeholders
- Track and report progress on, ongoing projects relevant to the Workforce Planning department
- Create, maintain, and archive files and documents;
- Support project reporting and program reporting;
- Provide analytical support to the Ground Handling Project through the development of business cases, financial modelling and data analysis to support business decision making.
- Support Workforce Planning Projects
- Compliance with the dnata Safety and Environment Policies
- Compliance with legislative Health & Safety requirements
- Develop and maintain a positive safety culture focused on awareness and vigilance.
- Conduct work in accordance with dnata’s Health & Safety Management System;
- Follow all safety work procedures, adhering to all safety guidelines provided;
- Participate in emergency drills and/or evacuations
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in operational resource planning
- Experience in Workforce Planning and/or crewing for large complex teams in the aviation industry essential
- Experience in reading and interpreting Enterprise Agreements and National Awards.
- Leadership exposure and commitment to driving operational excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills well suited to building business relationships with existing and potential customers and managing all internal as well as external stakeholders at all levels;
- Engaging and building the trust of key stakeholders with a strong desire to delight customers and delivering service excellence whilst balancing the challenges of being performance driven.
