Across its network of hostels, dedicated Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) staff provide accommodation and meals for residents in a supportive environment, assisted by local First Nations service providers and referral agencies.

AHL is looking for an enthusiastic Workforce Reporting Officer to join our Learning and Development team within the wider Human Resources Branch. We are looking for a data-savvy applicant with experience in APSED reporting, HR Metrics and ability to create clear and concise reports to the Executive to convey key information on AHL workforce.
The key duties of the position include:The Workforce Reporting Officer role will be responsible for producing accurate workforce data and reports to external and internal corporate bodies. Reporting to the Assistant Director Learning and Development, you will work in a small team in a collaborative manner to deliver effectively, timely and accurate HR Reporting, analytics and insights. Duties for the role include:
- Responsible for producing accurate workforce data and reports to external and internal corporate bodies. Undertake regular reporting and ad hoc requests for both internal and external stakeholders. Reporting functions for the role include: APSED, Dashboard, ABS statistics for surveys and Workforce data.
- Assistance in the preparation of documents, reports and executive briefings. Proficient in Excel with strong administrative skills and experience with HR related systems.
- Provide responsive, effective, and proactive advice and support on a range of policy and strategic project issues. As required, support the drafting of written and visual documents and reporting. And assist with high-level strategic policy work, for various purposes and audiences.
- Ability to research, analyse and interpret information from various sources to inform policy considerations.
- Work closely with other areas within AHL and with other agencies when required.
- Provide support and assistance with L&D’s general functions and customer enquiries via telephone, email and written correspondence, including in the context of non-routine circumstances and ensuring professional customer service standards.
