Primary Purpose of Role:
The Workplace Manager is responsible for ensuring all allocated sites operate as per contractual requirements, in relation to personnel, training, time management & attendance and escalating where breaches or gaps are identified to ensure a consistent and efficient level of service is delivered across all locations.
This role requires an excellent problem solver, to not only solve complex issues but to foresee any potential issues and create a solution prior to business disruption.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Effectively lead a team of Concierge and work to identify any areas of improvement in their performance and track against KPI’s
- Manage portfolio of 3 Workplace sites within CBD Precinct
- Complete oversight of resource planning – covering leave as needed, working with Auxus Operations Leadership team to ensure seamless operations across all sites
- Managing own schedule as per business requirements and often on an ad-hoc/ short notice basis
- Have an expert level knowledge of all allocated sites operations to be able to work any shift at any location without an operational impact to the client
- Train and develop team members in their day-to-day duties
- Provide a visible presence to leading and guiding all Concierge team members
- Act as an escalation for your team and resolve any issues or complex enquiries
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across all precinct sites
- To act as the fire warden (floor warden) in case of fire emergencies
- To be the first aider for emergencies
About you:
- Desirable qualifications in Business, hospitality management or related fields
- Background in facilities or workplace supervisory/management is ideal
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills;
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to drive change and engage others;
- Strong organisational skills, a capacity to work in a busy environment and to meet deadlines;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present with influence;
- Intermediate to advanced levels of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
