AA Canvas & Shades is a proud local family owned and operated business based on in Renmark SA. We are a manufacturer and retailer of high-quality outdoor blinds, indoor blinds and curtains.
We currently have an opportunity for a full time installer/Workshop assistant to join our team. This position will suit someone who is mature, can work unsupervised, has an interest in the building industry and can have a laugh. Specific blind or curtain installation experience is not necessary, as applicable specialised on job training will be provided, however experience with power tools would be an advantage.
Duties will include:
- taking accurate measurements
- installation of blind and shade products
- manufacturing and assembly of blind and shade products
- shed/fence installation
- general workshop tasks (eg. cleanup, sorting stock, shelving orders)
Requirements for the role:-
- Current driver's license
- Have a good attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
- Comfortable dealing with customers face to face
- Display excellent customer service skills
- Clean and tidy appearance
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with using hand/power tools
- This role would suit someone who is physically fit
This role will suit someone who has just finished school or has years of experience behind them.
