Total Drilling Pty Ltd is a privately owned company based in Thornton NSW. Our fleet comprises Hanjin track drill rigs and Scout drill rigs. We do Geotechnical and Environmental site investigation.We are looking for an experienced fitter who has a can-do attitude with relevant experience to join our team.
Qualifications & experience
- Cert III - Engineering - Mechanical Trade
- Previous experience as a drill rig fitter
- Good understanding of hydraulic, electrical & pneumatic systems
- Welding experience MIG
- HR licence or willing to obtain one
Tasks & responsibilities
- Actively perform day to day operational duties to provide Maintenance, servicing, breakdowns and repairs to the company's fleet of drill rigs, vehicles and auxiliary equipment
- Work closely with maintenance manager to organise & prioritise work load
- Perform all mechanical services to a high standard to maintain quality assurance
- Machining of parts using lathes, mills and drill presses
- Assembly of hydraulic hoses
- Follow maintenance schedules & service plans
- Able to trouble shoot & problem solve
- Be self motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Hours of work - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm
